OUR MISSION:​

Avail Outreach is a team of highly trained professionals who strives to build upon identified strengths to empower individuals diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum and with related disabilities and their families to achieve optimal outcomes that enhance their quality of life. Our services focus on the use of a variety of behavioral and educational strategies in the home, clinic, school and community environments in collaboration with families and related service providers to get the best results for the individuals that we support. We design programs specifically for each individual's goals, objectives and abilities and believe that everyone can achieve success with the appropriate resources, skills and knowledge.

Julie Crabtree, MS, BCBA, LBA
Executive Director

Julie is the Founder and Executive Director of Avail Outreach and Bending Birch Behavioral Services located in Denver, Colorado.  She earned her Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and has over 25 years experience working with children with special needs and their families. She earned certification as a Florida Certified Behavior Analyst in 1994 and received training from the Lovaas Clinic in intensive early intervention. Julie earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Boston College.  Since that time Julie has worked with children and families affected by disabilities in home, community, private day school, and hospital settings.
Amy Barnett, MS, BCBA, LBA
​Behavior Analyst
Amy earned her B.S degree in Health Promotion with a minor in Psychology in 2015. Amy relocated from Roanoke, VA to Woodbridge, VA and starting working as RBT at Avail Outreach in 2018. Amy has 7 years experience working with children. She has previously worked at summer camps and has volunteered at Jill’s House with individuals with special needs on multiple occurrences. In the spring of 2021, Amy was promoted to the first ever, Behavior Analysis Intern program at Avail. She finished her Master's work in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) and is incredibly excited to have become a BCBA in October of 2021!  Amy is looking forward to honing her skills as a Clinician and helping kiddos succeed. 
Kelsey Thompson M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
​Behavior Analyst
Kelsey received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Development from Virginia Tech in 2016. She went on to work as an in-home RBT with children between the ages of 2-12 while working towards her master’s degree. Kelsey received her Master’s Degree in Special Education with an ABA certificate from George Mason University in 2019. She earned her BCBA certification in November of 2020, after which she began working as a BCBA Clinical Supervisor at the same company in which she had worked as an RBT. Kelsey joined the Avail Outreach team in the fall of 2021 as a Clinical Supervisor, and is excited to bring a collaborative approach to working with our team, clients, and families.
​Katherine Krupinski, MS, BCBA, LBA
Clinical Director
​
Katherine received her B.S. degree from Northwestern University in Human Development and Psychological Services, and completed her Master's Degree in Professional Behavior Analysis through the Florida Institute of Technology.  Katherine was promoted to the Clinical Director position in August of 2020 after spending the past 3 years as a Clinical Supervisor here at Avail.  During her studies, she worked with children and adults at a residential camp for individuals with special needs, and gained experience in the in-patient psychiatric unit at Lurie's Children's Hospital. Katherine has been providing home and clinic based ABA services in the DMV since 2015.  She is passionate about providing individualized treatment to help every learner succeed.

Ashley Robinson, Ph.D., BCBA, LBA
​Behavior Analyst - Clinical Supervisor

Ashley received her doctoral degree in School Psychology from the University of South Carolina. While in graduate school, Ashley pursued certification as a behavior analyst and received comprehensive training in educational, medical, and residential facilities.  Following graduate school, Ashley completed her doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Kennedy Krieger Institute in the Neurobehavioral Unit’s Inpatient and Outpatient clinics.  Ashley has presented at a variety of national conferences and co-authored publications in journals such as Research in Developmental Disabilities and American Journal on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Ya Peng,  MS, BCBA, LBA
​Behavior Analyst
​Ya has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2018. After earning her Master’s in Linguistics from George Mason University in 2018, she entered the ABA field to cultivate her passion for working with children with special needs. She received a Master’s in Special Education along with the ABA certificate from George Mason University in 2021. She is excited to be part of the team of Avail Outreach and to give her commitment to the team and children.
Fenia Camille, Registered Behavior Technician
Fenia began working as a special education teacher assistant at Rosemary Kennedy in Nassau County. While working as an assistant, she decided to switch and pursue her Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from National Luis University. While in Georgia, she has taught students with Autism and other disabilities. She then continued with her education and earned her Master’s Degree in Special Education from University of Phoenix. Currently, she worked as a special education fifth grade teacher at Cameron Elementary School for Fairfax Schools District. Fenia is excited to be part of Avail Outreach team as an RBT.
Mankiran Kaur, Registered Behavior Technician
Mankiran graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in May of 2020 with a BS in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice.  She will be pursuing her Master's program in Applied Behavior Analysis very soon! After returning home to Springfield, she immediately joined the Team here at Avail.  This is thrilled to be a part of the team and is excited to make a difference in the children's lives as she starts her journey in a career in ABA. 
Lauryn Rumisek, Registered Behavior Technician
Lauryn graduated from Western Michigan University in May 2020, earning a B.S in Psychology and a B.A in Sociology with a focus in Social Psychology. During her time as an undergraduate, she worked as a teaching assistant alongside a professor teaching Abnormal Psychology, earned a spot on the Dean’s List for two consecutive years, and won a Diversity Equity and Inclusion Writing Prize awarded by The College of Arts and Sciences.  After graduation, she relocated to Arlington Virginia and joined our team here at Avail Outreach. She plans  to pursue her Master’s Degree in Behavioral Science in 2021. Lauryn is elated to be a part of the team of professionals at Avail Outreach, and looks forward to leaving positive impacts on children’s lives. 
Danielle Pinaha,  Registered Behavior Technician
​Danielle Pinaha graduated with bachelor’s in early childhood education from Ashford University in 2018. She is currently working on her master’s in special education with a certificate of Applied Behavior Analysis. She worked for a Child Development Center on Fort Belvoir for 3.5 years. The last year and a half she was a Lead teacher over two preschool classrooms (3-4), then two toddler rooms (18 months- 3-year-olds). She came to Avail Outreach in June pursuing better understanding of Applied Behavior analysis and working towards becoming a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. 
Alyssa Fanizzi,  Registered Behavior Technician
Alyssa graduated, Cum Laude from Marymount University with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Forensic Psychology in the Fall of 2018,.  After graduation she began working at the Ivymount School in the Autism program as a 1:1 therapist, where she taught social skills and other elementary special education groups.  She is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University, and will be graduating this December 2021.  Upon graduation and accrual of supervision hours Alyssa plan to become a BCBA.  She credited ABA with giving her opportunity to watch children progress and grow as individuals which is her passion.  Alyssa is very excited to be a part of the Avail team and to continue work in such a rewarding field. 
Willmara Moye,  Registered Behavior Technician
Willmara Moye graduated from George Mason University in May 2021 with a B.A in Psychology and minor in business. She is continuing her education at George Mason pursuing her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. During her time at Mason, Willmara worked as a support staff for Mason Life, a program for students with autism and other intellectual disabilities, with different aspects of college life. Willmara enjoyed working with the students of Mason Life and knew she wanted to continue working with the population as she pursued her career in counseling. As an aspiring mental health counselor, Willmara wanted to gain therapy experience as well as continue working with people on the autism spectrum and pursued becoming a Registered Behavior Technician. Willmara is grateful for the experience Avail Outreach has given her as an RBT as well as being a part of an amazing team.
Coral Kochis,  Registered Behavior Technician
Coral has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for over 5 years, working with a variety of populations. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from James Madison University in 2017, and is currently pursuing her graduate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at Florida Institute of Technology, set to graduate in April 2023.  Coral has a special interest in compassionate ABA as well as Organizational Behavior Management, and am looking forward to learning from incredible BCBAs during my career here at Avail. 
Onyeka Oloyede,  Registered Behavior Technician
Onyeka graduated from the  University in Lagos (2008) with a Masters degree in Public and International Affairs. She relocated to the US in 2015. She has worked with individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health since 2018.  In September of 2021, she started working as an RBT  with children with autism. She is currently enrolled  her at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell pursuing a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis and hopes to round up in December 2022. She joined Avail outreach in January 2022 .  Onyeka has a special interest in Organization Behavior Management , Traumatic Brain Injury and Autism.  I am highly impressed with working with incredible  BCBAs and RBTs here at Avail Outreach. 
Tosin Oladipo,  Registered Behavior Technician
Tosin graduated from Liberty University in May 2022 with their Bachelor’s in psychology and has always been passionate about mental and behavioral health care. Since the beginning of 2022 Tosin has been working as a Behavior Technician and has grown to love the field of ABA as well as the connections found while working with children. Seeing the real effects of ABA in the lives of the children they work with has been incredibly gratifying. 
Nicole Wynn,  Registered Behavior Technician
Nicole graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in December of 2021 with a BS in Psychology and two minors, Social Welfare and Health Care Services. She began working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2021 while living in Nashville Tennessee, before relocating to Arlington Virginia, where she joined the team at Avail Outreach. As a former collegiate athlete, Nicole’s passion for mental health has grown and has made a huge impact on her decision to earn her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and then pursue a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. 
Abigail YoHo,  Registered Behavior Technician
Abigail graduated Summa Cum Laude from Regent University’s honors college in May 2022 with a B.S. in Psychology. While in undergrad she helped to conduct and present research about academic and behavioral interventions for children with special needs, while working as a substitute teacher in special education classrooms. Abigail is excited to be pursuing her Master’s degree in ABA through Florida Institute of Technology in the fall of 2022. She looks  forward to becoming a BCBA and serving children in the foster care system, as she has a deep passion for foster care and adoption, and she loves the way ABA works to encompass the family unit as a whole. She is excited to continue learning about ABA and seeing the ways it brings hope, empowerment, and success to both clients and their families and is blessed to be starting her career in ABA with the wonderful team at Avail!
Colleen Boland,  Registered Behavior Technician
Colleen has worked in Applied Behavior Analysis for 1 year, following working in various administrative roles. After over 15 years of teaching children to swim in her free time, including those with special needs, Colleen has pivoted her career towards her passion of working with children and helping them succeed. Discovering ABA has been life changing for her and she is so excited to be part of doing this amazing work. Colleen is currently completing her undergrad in Child Psychology at Southern New Hampshire University online and will pursue a graduate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is looking forward to working collaboratively with the amazing team at Avail.
Kari Joy Thomas,  Registered Behavior Technician
Kari Joy is passionate about supporting and empowering children with special needs and is very excited to be joining the Avail Team in doing so. She is wrapping up her bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science with an emphasis in Language and Communication from the University of Arizona. Since 2016 Kari Joy has been working with and coaching gymnastics for children with special needs and is excited to extend her knowledge with ABA. She has seen the power of ABA to support children in their individual success with her little brother and is enthusiastic about continuing to learn from the amazing staff at Avail while providing compassionate and uplifting services.
